‘Economic and Social Statistics of Sri Lanka – 2025’ now available

‘Economic and Social Statistics of Sri Lanka – 2025’, an annual release of socio-economic statistics of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, is now available for public access. 

This is an online data release containing long series of data in an easily accessible and downloadable format, catering to the data requirements of various stakeholders. 

The Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka compiles this information, which consists of statistical tables categorised under eight major areas, i.e. ‘National Output, Expenditure and Income’, ‘Economic and Social Infrastructure’, ‘Prices, Wages and Employment’, ‘External Trade and Finance’, ‘Government Finance’, ‘Money, Interest Rates and Capital Markets’, ‘Financial Sector Performance’ and ‘Sri Lanka and the Rest of the World’. 

Each of these areas contains a useful collection of information for those who are interested in socio-economic data.
