Citrus Leisure sells 62.5mn shares in Hikkaduwa Beach Resort



Citrus Leisure PLC has sold 62.5 million ordinary voting shares of Hikkaduwa Beach Resort, representing over 10 percent of the resort’s issued voting shares, the company said in a Colombo Stock Exchange filing.

Citrus Leisure, the major shareholder of Hikkaduwa Beach Resort, sold the shares at prices ranging between Rs.3.50 and Rs.3.70 each. 



Following the sale, the Citrus Leisure shares were trading 20 cents higher at Rs.4.30, while the Hikkaduwa Beach Resort shares remained unchanged at Rs.3.50. 

Citrus Leisure operates a portfolio of hotels, including Citrus Waskaduwa, Citrus Hikkaduwa and Steuart by Citrus.
