Cargills relaunches value-added confectionaries at Profood, Propack & AgBiz



At the 22nd edition of Sri Lanka’s largest trade fair Profood, Propack & AgBiz 2025, Cargills Confectionaries (Pvt.) Ltd, a subsidiary of Cargills (Ceylon) PLC, officially relaunched its portfolio of value-added confectionaries under the new brand name Magic.

The Magic range embodies the brand’s core values of indulgence, youthfulness, spontaneity and fun and is designed to create special moments for families and friends. Signature products, including chocolate-coated biscuits and dark cream biscuits, have been refreshed to provide a high-quality experience that combines international standards with locally made craftsmanship. 

The relaunched portfolio features seven existing products alongside three new introductions: Magic ChocOh, Magic ChokStik and Magic Chonkz. These versatile products are suitable both as snacks and as accompaniments for desserts, milkshakes and cake decorations, offering enjoyable experiences for consumers of all ages. 

With packaging designed to meet the global standards, the Magic range is positioned to attract not only local consumers but also international buyers and tourists visiting Sri Lanka.

Notably, the existing product Magic Olo has been reintroduced in new packaging with a unique brand identity colour called Olo Colour, a vibrant shade discovered by scientists, underscoring the brand’s commitment to innovation and differentiation.

The attendees at Profood, Propack & AgBiz 2025 had the opportunity to experience the updated Magic range firsthand, gaining insight into Cargills’ continued focus on enhancing consumer experiences and expanding its presence in the global confectionery market.
