CFA Society to hold executive programme on money and bond markets

CFA Society Sri Lanka announced the one-day executive training programme ‘Practical Aspects of the Money Market and Bond Market in the Local Context’, to be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Courtyard by Marriott, Colombo City Centre.

Designed for treasury, investment and finance professionals, the programme blends core concepts with hands-on dealing practices, pricing and yield calculations, trading strategies and current market developments relevant to Sri Lanka. 

Participants will gain actionable skills to strengthen liquidity management, investment decision-making and risk management, aligning daily operations with local conventions and global best practices.

The session will be facilitated by former Standard Chartered Bank Head of Forex and Fixed Income Trading for Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal Yasantha Jayasinghe, CFA.

“This programme is built to be practical from start to finish; the participants will leave with tools they can apply immediately in their dealing rooms and treasury functions. As market conditions evolve, building confident, well-tooled teams is critical.
