Almas Holdings lifts stake in Galle Face Capital Partners above 10%

Almas Holdings (Pvt.) Ltd raised its stake in Galle Face Capital Partners PLC (WAPO.N0000) to 10.04 percent, following the share purchases on August 7. 

Almas Holdings bought 1,350,000 shares at Rs.69 each, 159 shares at Rs.72.90 and 8,722 shares at Rs.73. 

The purchases increased the company’s holding from 1,541,119 shares or 5.33 percent of the issued share capital, to 2.9 million shares, out of Galle Face Capital Partners’ 28,894,939 outstanding shares.

The disclosure was made under Section 36 of the Take-Overs and Mergers Code of Sri Lanka, 1995, as amended in 2003.
