Admo Solar carved a milestone in the solar energy sector with the recent successful installation of the Solar Net Accounting System at the official residence of the President of Sri Lanka.
As a follow-up to this landmark event, Admo Solar signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hatton National Bank to foster development of the renewable energy sector amongst its loyal customer base.
The MoU was signed by Rumesh Jayasekara Marketing Manager Admo Solar and Viraj Mendis Head of Personal Financial Services HNB.
The strategic MoU will be a boost to green energy financing and enable a close partnership between both institutions to create a supporting framework for funding for the bank’s loyal customer base.
Coupled with excellent after-sales service and technical expertise, customers are guaranteed best results and would greatly enhance the development of this critical sector. Admo Solar would provide an opportunity to the bank’s Shanthi Home Loan customers to zero their electricity bills and additionally gain a side income for the excess units produced.
Benefits to its existing loyal customers as well as new customers would include a flat 20 percent discount. Free site inspections and excellent personalized photovoltaic systems installation will be carried out by Admo Solar’s highly qualified engineers and tailor-made to suit the customers’ household requirements and specifications.
Speaking about the MoU, Rumesh Jayasekara said, “Admo Solar’s partnership with HNB is a significant joint effort towards actualizing the Government’s mission of creating 200 Mw of electricity and the powering of 1 million houses through the latest Solar Net Accounting System. Admo Solar is fully committed to play the role of a catalyst and work towards unlocking innovative mechanisms for Renewable Energy propagation and this MoU will strengthen our efforts towards meeting our goal of fulfilling the government’s vision.” He added,”HNB Shanthi Home Loan customers will cash in from the benefits of net accounting.”
