The 36th Anniversary Convention of the Association of Professional Bankers (APB) Sri Lanka is scheduled for February 19 and 20, 2026, at Cinnamon Life (Lumina Ballroom), under the timely theme of ‘Navigating Complexity and Accelerating Impact Through Regional Synergy’.
APB Sri Lanka President Anton Arumugam emphasised that this year’s convention represents a significant milestone for the organisation, highlighting its strategic initiative to elevate Sri Lankan banking professionals to the global platform while promoting stronger partnerships with international professional bodies.
The inauguration would be held on February 19, graced by Central Bank Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe as the chief guest. The keynote speaker and guest of honour would be Reserve Bank of India Executive Director Shri Ajay Kumar.
The Technical Session that would be held on February 20 will feature speakers and panellists from the Finance Ministry, Central Bank, Deloitte, BCG and McKinsey and key industry personal and professionals in the fields of economics, IT, HR and CEOs and chairmen from leading banks in the country, who would speak about timely topics under the main theme.
