AHRP-Sentiva-Altrium usher in a new era of HR innovation in Sri Lanka

  • MoU unites AHRP’s new brand and member platforms, Sentiva’s AI-native HR innovation and Altrium’s global engineering expertise to redefine future of HR

The Association of HR Professionals (AHRP) announced the signing of a three-way memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sentiva, an AI-native HR platform covering every stage of the employee journey and Altrium, a New York-headquartered software consultancy specialising in Generative AI solutions with its engineering centre in Sri Lanka.

The event titled ‘Concord’ was held at Shangri-La Colombo, hosted by Sentiva and celebrated multiple milestones: AHRP unveiled its refreshed brand identity and website, reflecting a bold vision for the future as it celebrates 25 years of service to the nation’s HR community. Sentiva shared updates on its platform expansion and announced that its global launch is scheduled for October at the World AI Summit in Amsterdam, underscoring its mission to help organisations hire smarter, engage more effectively.

Altrium, recognised for building intelligent platforms that handle over US $ 3 billion in transactions annually, developed the AHRP’s new website and brand identity, serving as the AHRP’s strategic technology partner.

The three-way MoU establishes a long-term strategic collaboration to strengthen HR innovation, digital adoption and professional development in Sri Lanka.

A highlight of the evening was the panel discussion ‘Disengagement is the New Resignation’, moderated by Ashan Rodrigo. The panel featured Dinusha Jayamanne (Brandix), Kaushal Mendis (Mova/ARA), Oshana Dias (Fortude) and Yohan Liyanage (Sentiva). The panellists examined the silent cost of disengagement, how to spot early warning signs and the need to redesign work for resilience and trust.

“This partnership represents more than technology—it’s about building sentient workplaces that can listen, adapt and grow with their people,” said Sentiva founder and CEO Yohan Liyanage.

“At Altrium, we are passionate about applying our expertise in Generative AI to deliver platforms that create real impact,” said Altrium Director Delivery Rukshan Salgado.

The event also honoured the AHRP’s 25-year journey as a trusted voice for HR professionals in Sri Lanka.

“This partnership ensures our members gain access to world-class tools and knowledge, enabling Sri Lanka’s HR profession to lead confidently into the future,” said AHRP President Thushara Jayawardana.
