The Police Special Task Force (STF) arrested two drug traffickers known as ' Disco' and ' Weliwita Sudda' during two separate raids in Modera and Kaduwela.

Accordingly, a large-scale drug trafficker, Dharmakirthi Udeni Inuka Perera alias 'Disco', was arrested by the STF in possession of heroin and sharp weapons.

The STF arrested the 42-year-old suspect, a resident of Kaduwela with 14g of heroin during a raid at Modara in Colombo 15 last night.

She was arrested following an intelligence tip off received by the STF.
 
During the search conducted at the suspect's house, 4 sharp weapons were found, and it was learnt that the suspect maintains direct links with Reuben, a large-scale drug trafficker and an organized criminal currently living in France.

It was revealed that Reuben is aiding and abetting to drug trafficking and organized criminal activities in this country.

The arrested woman was handed over to the Modara police station for further investigation.

Meanwhile, an organized criminal and drug trafficker known as Sudath Kithsiri Thushara alias ' Weliwita Sudda' was arrested by the STF in possession of 13g heroin during a raid at Kothalawala in Kaduwela.

The suspect was handed over to the Kaduwela Police.(Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
