Nathasha Edirisooriya, who was arrested over her remarks on Buddhism was remanded until June 7 by the Fort Magistrate court today.

Nathasha was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) last night while attempting to leave the country.

Madam! Please don’t insult any religion! All religions give one message in different ways- simply advises the followers to lead a good life! Insult the followers who twist and turn religion- seeking Devine powers to heal, pass exams , go abroad etc. and then there are these jokers who charge mobile phones. All mighty cannot charge mobile phone, heal you without meds or make a total dud pass exams. I admire and appreciate all religions in this country, the teachings are very true if one has the willpower to apprehend. For those who are weak- they can go get their phones charged and then deposit their valuables in a drop box!
