Two people injured in shooting

Two people in a double cab were injured when they were shot at by gangsters at Arangala in Kaduwela this morning.
Police Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said the gangsters had been travelling in a van.
He said the injured men, both residents of Athurugiriya, were admitted to the Sri Jayawardenepura Hospital and that their health condition was stable.
They were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony.
ASP Gunasekara said the motive behind the shooting was yet to be ascertained. (PF)
