Two students of the Jaffna University drowned while they were bathing at Wishwamadu Lake in Pudukuduirippu.

Police said the victims were identified as 24-year-old residents of Vavuniya and Olumadu.

They drowned when a group of students at Management Faculty of the Jaffna University went for a bath during a trip.
