18 riders arrested for ‘dangerous racing’

Eighteen motorcycle riders were arrested today by the police for dangerous riding in Piliyandala-Kesbewa new road which was used by this gang for speeding their motorcycles.

The 18 motorcycles were also taken into police custody and they were residents of Mattakkuliya.

Police said the motorcycle’s engines were tuned to make very louder noise.

They would be produced before the Kesbewa Magistrate today.

Good move by "Sri Lanka Police". Well done !Still I am puzzled how Sandeep escape from law enforcement authorities since he has clearly violated the traffic law of the country.

How about that hit and run guy who crashed into the back of the suv in rajagiriya? Why special treatment for him? Connections? Arrest him, even if he is in hospital!
