Cabinet has approved a proposal by Minister Ravi Karunanayaketo affix a protective label (Sticker) on each legally manufactured bottle of arrack and on bottles of imported liquor before being released by the Customs to prevent illegally manufactured liquor entering the market.

The minister is so concerned about the protective label. Is there any further plans to protect the women and children who are abused by alcoholics who go wild due to overdose. The recent victim is a woman who had worn a denim trouser.

When the ticket machine was introduced in the 60s for the CTB,it was announced by the British manufacturer that this machine cannot be tampered with by anyone in the world,but you guessed it right,a bus conductor of the CTB did tamper this machine within a few minutes for his benefit.So what is a printed label? Now a days even a three year old child can duplicate on the computer.

each sticker should have deferent numbers to indicate the type and other details of the product then people purchase it shoud be able to check that online,( for expensive stuff)
