Western Provincial Council Chief Minister Prasanna Ranatunga and his wife Maureen arrived at the Financial Crime Investigation Division (FCID) this morning to give a statement over a land deal.

The Colombo Fort Magistrate last Tuesday ordered the two to give the statement to the FCID after they were released on bail in connection with allegedly threatening a businessman demanding money and accepting a part of the amount. (LSP)
