Video: No female student were attacked: Police
The Police today said that no female student were attacked during the protest carried out by the students of Higher National Diploma in Accountancy yesterday in Town Hall and that the media has reported about one particular photo which shows a female student being attacked by an officer in a misleading manner.
Senior Superintendent of Police Champika Siriwardane said police officers had only attempted to remove the particular student from the location but media has used the photo in a misleading manner.
