Navy arrests 54 illegal migrants

The Navy today intercepted a trawler with 54 people on board off the coast of Mullaitivu while they were allegedly attempting to migrate to Australia.

The illegal migrants are being brought to the Navy Post at the Trincomalee Harbour for further investigations. (Amadoru Amarajeewa)
