Video: May Day processions begin
May Day processions organised by the main political parties and other organizations, began a short while ago and are on their way to the respective venues of May Day rallies.
The UPFA May Day procession which is on its way to Borella Campbell Park started with President Mahinda Rajapaksa joining it.
The main opposition UNP May Day procession led by acting UNP leader Karu Jayasuriya is heading towards the Ampara Town while the May Day rally of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) started a short while ago at the BRC ground in Colombo. +
