Mahinda promises



Former president Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday said at a meeting held in Kuliyapitiya that the minimum salary of an employee would be increased to Rs.25, 000.

He further said the present government had weakened the development process started during his regime and failed to fulfil the promises given to the people and created a situation that caused 1.5 million people to lose their jobs.
