Lankan maid steal jewelry

A 25-year old Kuwaiti woman filed a complaint accusing her Sri Lankan maid of stealing jewelry worth KD 1400, reports Al-Rai daily.

The woman said she booked a ticket for the domestic worker to spend the holiday in her home country and even drove her to the airport. She returned home later and found the jewelry missing. (Arab Time)

Sadly the Arabs and people from the Muslim world trust these maids.. They should make it a habit to check the belongings of the maids b4 they leave to the Airport..just like how its done in SL.. A few make it look bad for the larger population..who is working in the Middle East... chop her hands..
