Janaka Bandara re-remanded

UPFA Parliamentarian Janaka Bandara Tennakoon was further remanded till November 24 by the Matale Magistrate today.

The Parliamentarian did not appear before court due to his health condition while Magistrate Sampath Gamage had rejected his bail application.

Mr. Tennakoon was arrested by the CID while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in connection with an alleged murder incident, which took place in 1999. (Mahesh Keerthirathne)
