Dilshan is a fantastic batsman - one of the best in the world. His own performance suffered after he took up Captaincy of the SL team. He did not always have the freedom with which to choose the team due to heavy political inteference from Colombo. In many ways, this will be good for him to reain his form and return to first class cricket and thrill the spectators as he had done in the past. Mahela will be a good Captain, cool head, intelligent and experienced. Do not pelt stones at Dilshan. He tried to make good a situation that was hopeless due to heavy corruption. A malady that is common in the sub-continent. Cricket is a beautiful game. Teach the players to think of country and team first and never ever give up on a game no matter how hopeless until the last ball has been bowled. This is something that we can learn from the Australian, English and South African teams. We have the power, the talent and the experience. Just do it!
