20 day old Infant found abandoned in cardboard box in Jaffna
An infant aged 20 days was found alive in a cardboard box outside the Wadaliyappu Hindu Kovil in Ilawali, Jaffna today.
The Ilawali Police launched an investigation into the incident.
The infant was admitted to the Thellapalei Hospital and later transferred to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital. (Wanni Romesh Madushanka)
