Crime OIC arrested for soliciting Rs. 2.5mn bribe

Officer in Charge of the Crime Branch of the Narahenpita Police was nabbed by the Bribery Commission sleuths for soliciting a bribe of Rs. 2.5 million from a businessman a short while ago, in Kohuwala.

The businessman, a suspect of a forged document case was demanded the sum not to take legal action against him by police.
