The war on prostitution is a pointless exercise. It has existed since ancient times and will continue for centuries to come. The answer is to decriminalise the activity, allow the women to operatein brothels and grant them protection under the law just like any other citizen. The law as it stands just encourages the criminal activitythat surrounds the trade as well as exploitation by police authorities. WE have heard of tales of the women giving a "freebie" in return for not being arrested. Why can't we have legalised brothels situated away from residential areas. Ask casino boss Packer.
