Avant Garde operations handed over to Navy: Rajitha

Minister Rajitha Senaratne today said the President has ordered to hand over the operations of Avant Garde to the Sri Lanka Navy with immediate effect.

The decision was taken at a meeting held with the participation of President Maithripala Sirisena this afternoon.

Police Chief N.K. Ilangakoon, Attorney General, Navy Commander, representatives from the Rakna Lanka, Ministers Rajitha Senaratne, Patali Champika Ranawaka and Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe participated in the discussion.

This is a very stupid thing to do under the influence of few corrupt ministers. Surely plans will appear to hand over this lucrative business to a well known business party linked to these agitating ministers .
