Tale drama actress Ruwanthi Mangala and songstress Judith White (Ginger) are also among those contesting the forthcoming Western Provincial Council election from the UPFA.

These celebrities along with Hirunika Premachandra, Minister Jeevan Kumaratunga’s daughter Malsha Kumaratunga and actress Gayesha Perera faced the UPFA nomination board for interviews at the SLFP Headquarters in Colombo this morning.

Accordingly, Hirunika and Ginger will contest from the Kolonnawa electorate, Gayesha from Dehiwala while Malsha and Ruwanthi will vie from Colombo. (Pix by Ishan Sanjeewa)

Its evident that if you cant do proper job the last stop is looking a political career, I hope western province will give a better vote and select people with heads not looks and cheap popularity.

Politics has become the best profession to make a quick buck in 5 years . you make millions and lead people to misery.
