Riding indiscipline of motor cyclists on roads are rampant today. Overtaking other vehicles on wrong side, creeping in between moving vehicles irresponsibly to overtake, erratic swaying from lane to lane etc are not treated as traffic violations by the police. Until some positive steps are taken to control road indiscipline by motorcyclists these unfortunate incidents take place and valuable lives are lost. Hiding in some corner and catching motorists who cut the single line is the only traffic offense for the Police today.

Road accidents are on the increase. The situation calls for prompt action.
