Woman killed in shooting at Meetiyagoda

A woman was killed in a shooting incident reported at Dombanwila in Meetiyagoda today, Police said.

Police said the shooting was carried out inside a holiday resort and a woman who was employed there died in the incident.

Police suspect that the shooting may be a retaliation for the killing of a fishseller in Ambalangoda.

Meetiyagoda police are investigating.
