’We always stand for peace’ - Priests

The two Christian priests who were injured after being attacked by goons at Minagogama, near Temple Trees, have been discharged from the CNH last evening with no major injuries sustained.

They added that there was a Buddhist monk too was injured along with them in the melee.

The two priests reiterated that they will always stand for peace, communal harmony, and democracy and that they do not condone with any type of violence and will continue to strive for lasting peace and unity among all Sri Lankans.
