Unrest in Nepal: Ranil issues statement

Opportunities created by American-owned social media companies to overthrow governments around the world cannot be underestimated, former President Ranil Wickremesinghe said today.

Wickremesinghe made this remark in a statement referring to the situation in Nepal.

“The potential of the incidents in Nepal is dangerous,” he added.
