Three dead after car plunges into Boralaweli canal

Colombo, Nov. 27 (Daily Mirror) - Three people died after a car veered off the road and plunged into the Boralaweli Canal in Saindamarudu earlier today, authorities confirmed.

Army personnel who responded to the scene managed to pull the occupants out of the submerged vehicle, but all three were pronounced dead on admission after being rushed to hospital.
