Suspect arrested while selling 6 precious Elephant Pearls

A suspect was arrested for the possession of six Elephant Pearls (Gajamuthu) worth over Rs. 10 million during a raid carried out by the STF in Hingurana.

It was revealed that these Elephant Pearls were set for sale and the suspect who is a resident of Ampara was arrested by the STF following information received by the Navy Intelligence.

The 26-year-old suspect along with the Elephant Pearls were handed over to the Damana Police Station for further investigations.(DSB)
