Sri Lanka should take a neutral stand on the Gaza Strip conflict as neutralism will help the country to achieve its goals, an SJB MP said today.
“Sri Lanka should not support any party involved in fighting in the Gaza Strip and ensure that the adverse effects to the nation are minimal. Sri Lanka should focus on its own agenda, especially when it comes to the economy,” MP Eran Wickramaratne told a media conference.

Neutralism should be followed to the letter without covertly supporting Hanas by indulging in some ethnic M.P s carrying playcards and banners especially in Colombo.

Very true,we must not take sides because it is a very sensitive issue where religion is concerned. Better be safe than sorry.
