Sevangala sugar factory to be turned into a public-private partnership: Deputy Minister

Colombo, Oct. 9 (Daily Mirror) - The Sevangala sugar factory is  to be converted into a public-private partnership in order to make the maximum use of the available resources of the entity, Deputy Minister Chathuranga Abeysinghe told Parliament today. 

He assured that the rights and  interests of sugarcane farmers and workers attached to the factory, despite the change.
