Gampola, Feb 10 (Daily Mirror) - Another child who was being treated for injuries after a tree collapsed on a group of students at an international school in Gampola, died this morning.

On Monday, a five-year-old student was killed and two other students were injured when a tree collapsed on them at an international school in Gampola.  

The tree adjacent to the children’s play area had fallen on them due to winds, experienced at that time, initial investigation revealed while some 30 students of the nursery section were playing beneath the tree.     

Police said the child died this morning while receiving treatment at the National Hospital in Kandy.

Police said the deceased was a 5-year-old child and a resident of Gampola.
