Sajith willing to be PM if President resigns

Leader of Opposition Sajith Premadasa is willing to take over the premiership if President Gotabaya Rajapaksa resigns from his post, Chief Opposition Whip Lakshman Kiriella said today.

“ Mr. Premadasa is not willing to become a scarecrow Prime Minister,” he told journalists today.

“Why should we need a non-political Prime minister when there are people in SJB?” he questioned. (Yohan Perera)

Ask Karu Jayasuriya to come in on the national list and make him PM. The people will accept him and not Sajith. Then bring in the 19th amendment so that the President's wings are clipped

First make full disclosure of any and all of your prior and current deals with the Rajapakse's please, including any associated to foreign currency issues relating to your close family members. Also please disclose any secret dialogues and dealings you had with Sirisena during the Yahapalanaya regime to discuss and scheme to undermine the then prime minister prior to the 52 day coup. We are looking for clean politicians or at least those who dare to come clean for this interim period. If you have not had any deals in relation to these please state so, and we can consider your offer further from there.
