SLPP secures 74.12% of votes in Monaragala
The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) secured 208,193 votes in Monaragala District which is a 74.12% of valid votes in all three electorates in the district.
The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) secured 54,147 votes (19.28%).
Meanwhile, the Jathika Jana Balawegaya (JJB) garnered 11,429 votes (4.07%) while the United National Party (UNP) secured 3,494 votes (1.24%).
