SL Envoy to Russia Prof. Lamawansa vaccinated with Sputnik V

Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Russia Professor M.D. Lamawansa was vaccinated against coronavirus with the Sputnik V vaccine, the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka said today.

A representative of the Sri Lanka Embassy has said that “the Ambassador is feeling excellent and in good spirits, none of the possible symptoms manifested itself.”

The representative has clarified that being a doctor himself, the Ambassador has paid close attention to many details. Earlier, it became known that experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) will hold meetings to discuss the Russian vaccine against COVID-19 Sputnik V on January 28 and 29, RT News said.
