Rain expected to enhance in south-western part of island
Showery conditions are expected to enhance to some extent in the south-western part of the island in the next few days starting from today, the Forecasting Division of the National Meteorological Centre said.
Several spells of showers would occur in the Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces and in the Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Galle and Matara districts.
However, showers or thundershowers would occur at several places in the Uva Province and in the Ampara and Batticaloa districts during the evening or night. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
