We are in 2024 but still muslim law and various other ethnic or regional law exists. Not a single politician had the backbone to remove these and have a single law. We need new set of 225. Not these old guys.

None of the Muslim MP will support the reform because of the vote base. Former Justice Minister Ali Sabri had better chance since he was elected from the National List.

Rs.5000/- bribe! This shows the standard of his living and the level of his thinking. He would not have imagined that he will be trapped by Bribery Commission. Whatever it is, give him appropriate punishment. Ignorance and poverty is not the criteria to judge a crime.

When the officials from Coconut Development Board demanded bribe from foreigners who showed interest to buy our cocopit, the commissioner has not investigated at all. The women has brought Rs.5,000 claiming to have no change for documentation charges, while informing officials that the Qazi is demanding money.
