President says no to second NCM

President Maithripala Sirisena has said that he would not accept the results of yesterday’s vote on the No-Confidence Motion (NCM) in Parliament as the standard procedure had not been followed, MP Lakshman Yapa Abeywardane said.

He said the President would convey this to Speaker Karu Jayasuriya as well.

The President is not bluffing politicians he is bluffing us the people of Sri Lanka. He has destroyed the future of this country and has set a new standard for violence and violations. All the troubles were ignited by non other than MS who wanted to get 2nd term of office and it would be possible if he gets the support of MR. Now it has backfired and he has taken 'trishanku' stage and has plunged the country into a dark era. They are trying to tell the people the only way out for this mess is going for general election where MS-MR combine thinks they can secure majority and come to power. But the way matter unfolds, that chance is also diminishing day by day. MR stood a better chance before this drama started and at the moment definitely his image is also tarred by his stooges. The only person who can give a solution is non other than MS who started this problem.
