President, delegation return from Britain

The delegation, including President Ranil Wickremesinghe flew to Britain to attend the funeral ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II returned to the island and touched down at the Katunayake International Airport this morning.

The duty officer in charge of the airport confirmed this.

They arrived at the Katunayake Airport at 8.23 am on an Emirates airline from Dubai, incidentally,
this was the first official overseas visit of the President after assuming office.

in view of his arrival, security arrangements have been tightened within and out of the Airport premises and in the whole compound. (T.K.G. Kapila)

Ranil Wickramasinghe is a person, who does not care much for personal security. He does not impose himself on any person, and can walk the whole country without any fear. This is his reputation, because even people who are against his politics will never ever think of harming him.

President RW was trying to imitate MaRa, except instead of 300 delegation, including Eliyantha White the incumbent EP had only 3 others in his delegation?? Or at tax payers expense??? @nomoney Why then Lee Sieh Loon , Singaporean premier not use Singapore Airlines then? Anyone who fly SLA causes more long term losses for it, so better use another airline rather than burden our country more by using Sri Lankan.
