Power crises forces Parliament to curtail power usage: Speaker

Usage of power has been limited in the Parliamentary complex due to the present power crisis, Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene announced today.

“It has been decided to use electricity cautiously in the parliamentary complex and canteen as a result,” the Speaker said. “We hope the MPs and others will understand and cooperate with us,” he added. (Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardana)
