Police responds to social media video of cop supports protesters

Responding to widespread video that bore witness to a policeman too joining the protesting public to extend his suppot in Kottawa, the Police said it was not yet proven that whether the person wearing the khaki attire similar to police uniform in the video was a policeman.

During the protest, a man in a khaki dress, wearing a black jacket and a white helmet, addressed a crowd that "we are with you, even though we are in uniform."

Police said an investigation is underway to ascertain whether he was a real policeman or belonged to any other service or an ordinary man. (Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)

Nothing wrong in Police supporting people's struggle. That is what they should be doing, This is not happenning beciase the seniors in ll aremd forces are corrupt as the ruling government
