Do not reveal the time of these undercover operations. They should randomly board public transportation

How can one identify abuse in a jam-packed vehicle, since that situation is already abusive? This is another way to increase the statistics, similar to arresting drug users.

    Trap Thursday, 08 February 2024 12:05 PM

Its an unfortunate situation for the person who gets in a jam packed bus, and the conductor shouts you to move to the middle. Suicidal situation and embarrassing moment for those that don't go and those who go will be arrested. Work from home - safest option if available or go late to work with pay deduction There should be rules not to overload which is the root cause for this issue

There are more preverts lurking in these buses.. find all and bash their twinkys with a wooden pole. Put the photos of these preverts in the buses like a missing person ad to ensure they never get into any in the future.

Install CCTV cameras in buses and trains.

How can you abuse women and children in a full bus? Is there not someone normal defending them and hand over the abuser to the police?

Arrest the driver and conductor Thursday, 08 February 2024 01:27 PM

Exactly, if someone makes a noise who would dare to stand! I pray that they arrest only if the pervert continues, after a warning is given because in a crowded bus everyone is going through inconvenience. Please arrest the driver and conductor for overloading and causing inconvenience for public @ Gov - Please increase the number of buses during rush time to solve this wisely

Stop loud music Thursday, 08 February 2024 12:19 PM

Please also put rules to stop loud music

Few years ago women only buses were started But they were stopped because females continued to use the normal buses There is more to this than men being abusive

    Robert Thursday, 08 February 2024 02:30 PM

It should do same with idiotic bus drivers Who drive like gone crazy creating danger to all road user's pedestrians Inc passengers should be given heavy fines This idiotic majority drivers are have no respect what so ever due to moneyed influence bus owners something must be done to protect and keep road safe from this fellows

man on the brake Thursday, 08 February 2024 11:00 PM

Reckless drivers frequently brake abruptly, making the journey uncomfortable and unsafe, especially for pregnant mothers. I strongly recommend implementing a GPS system in all public transport vehicles to alert and deter such drivers from endangering lives

Acting IG is trying to show his colors. He failed as a senior officer to show his colors. These actions will not stand in good stead for him to retain his position as it is hard to neutralise his past sins with these actions

This is nothing surprising. This the job of the police to protect the public. You should use all those police and Army officers who are working as servants in minister and top-ranking officers' homes.

I'm sure the Lawyer association won't come to trouble Deshabandu on this matter. There's no kickback for them.

Tissa Fernando Friday, 09 February 2024 09:25 AM

In a crowded and speeding bus tat breaks suddenly and turning violently it seems very difficult not to accidently have some contact with other people. Many females do not move from the exit door area at all, even if there is some space behind they do not move at all. Even this situation is worse in the crowded lift of Maharagama Cancer Hospital. Police should spend time I'm catching other criminals who shoot at will.

Now may be the women will complain and protest for the release of these abusers. Who know may be women also enjoy being rubbed in buses. Before taking action against these abusers, atleast get a secret survey done from women
