Plans to construct separate terminal for domestic flights at BIA: Minister

Colombo, Nov. 24 (Daily Mirror) - The government is planning to conduct a feasibility study next year on constructing a separate terminal for domestic flights at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation Aruna Karunathilake said today.

He told Parliament that it is important to develop domestic airports for tourism promotion in the country.

The Minister said the government has allocated funds from the budget to develop the Hingurakgoda domestic airport as well.
