A large number of protesters have flocked in front of the residence of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on Wijerama Mawatha.

The barricades have been set up preventing protestors from entering the residence

Residents of Jaffna suffered the same, no cooking gas, no fuel, no baby formula milk, no food items during the civil war and this pathetic situation was censored so people in the south were unaware. No one could travel to the funerals of loved ones beyond Vavunia. Why did not the South raise then?
