Parliamentary attendence of Ali Sabri Raheem suspended for one month



Colombo, March 6 (Daily Mirror) - Parliamentary attendence of Ali Sabri Raheem has been suspended for a period of one month from today over the gold smuggling case, Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardane anounced today.

He said the suspension was imposed in terms of the recommendations of the report which was presented to Parliament on 24 January 2024 by the Chairman of the Committee on Ethics and Privileges Chamal Rajapaksa.
