The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) today recommended the Education Ministry to declare the school holiday from Monday (4) for schools.

PUCSL Chairman Janaka Ratnayake said the recommendation was made as children may face inconveniences due to lengthy power cuts. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
